In many professional websites you see posts with a short summary and link to the full post. Links like “Read More” “Continue Reading” and “More” are some of the text which link to the full post. This type displays maximum posts in minimum space. And it is a very good way to show content on your website so that readers read what they like.

Removing Navbar From Blogger

Navbar is a small toolbar provided by blogger.com which is placed at the the top of your blogger blog. It looks like this:

Some people would like to remove this toolbar because it may not look good or may not match with the template. Here’s how you can remove the navbar: 1. Go to Layout->Edit Html 2. Download Full Template 3. Check the Expand Widget Templates 4. Search for this code

5. Below the above code paste the code below

#navbar-iframe { height:0px; visibility:hidden; display:none; }

6. Save the Template

After this your navbar is completely removed.

Replace tags with an Image

The tags can be replaced by an image of your choice in blogger by just replacing and adding small pieces of code in the template by using Edit Html of the layout.

Here is what you should do: 1. Go to Layout->Edit Html 2. Download Full Template (This is to backup your template) 3. Check the Expand Widget Templates 4. Now search for the code below

5. Replace the code in bold by this code:

You can replace this http://bloggertipspro.googlepages.com/tags.png by the link of the image you want to display

6. Save the Template

Replace Home and Posts Links by images in Blogger

Navigation Links in Blogger are visible as text links usually at the bottom of each page. It is always good to have images as links for navigation, simple text links usually do not attract attention but image links accentuate the navigation links. This hack will show that just by uploading the images and replacing some code in your template, your image navigation links will be up and running.

The new navigation links will look like this:

You can have images other than these for home and post links(newer and older).
