title="5 Conversion Rate Optimization Tips for Bloggers" href="http://www.bloggodown.com/2010/04/5-conversion-rate-optimization-tips-for-bloggers.html">conversion rate evaluation and its increasing. The increasing part is one of the key tasks of web analytics, so this issue should be considered in more details.

So, what site conversion means? The simplest definition is the following: it is a process of making clients (customers) from site visitors. Conversion percent is correlation of number of visitors with the number of customers in percent. The problem is that many commercial site owners try to define optimal conversion rate for web resource which is not quite right. There can’t be one factor. For one business person optimal conversion rate is 3% (some online shop owners say that the conversion rate of their sites isn’t more than 2%), and for another – 10%. If the activity of site not only covers the expenses, but also allows to reinvest money and its future development – we can say that site conversion is not critically low.
But if the level of site conversion is threatening to site’s profit, you should take some actions to correct this situation. Taking into consideration that conversion is the process (visitor becomes customer), you must first make it maximally fast and convenient for visitors. The more difficult it is to use the site, the lower there is a probability of a new purchase. Bad website design makes people think that they have an affair with nonprofessionals.
Let’s discuss some key parameters that affect conversion rate of the web site:

1. Don’t overload visitors with information. Very often owners of online shops write too many information about product. In this situation it is better to make a link to additional information about the product and not to make visitor spend his precious time on reading the information that may be useless for him.

2. Don’t force visitors to give their personal information if it is not very important for you. For example, why must he register the account when he just wants to order a good? Or why do you ask his e-mail before he downloads price list orpdf-document? Very often visitors are asked to fill in a big web form, and if this process makes him tired and irritated, he will just leave your resource and never come back.

3. Be maximally frank and open for your potential clients. For example, if for some moment your internet shop doesn’t have a certain product, don’t show it on the front page. It is better to mark it “This product is not available now”. If the customer pays for delivery, you shouldn’t hide this fact. It would be better to describe all process of delivery in details. It is also advisable to inform the client about the time of product or service delivery.

4. Embed a contact page in your online shop. It would be great if you build a customised web form that will fully suit your web resource. But if you are not very good in programming, then you may use one of online generators like PHPForms. Visitors will feel that you care about their opinion and that you can answer all their questions very quickly via email or by telephone.

5. Offer potential clients several variants of payment. If you only accept the bank payment, your internet business won’t have any success. Very often the limited list of payments make people leave this website and go to your competitors.

6. Money refund. Remember, it is one of the most verified ways of clients attraction. If the visitor knows for sure that he may take his money back, he will trust this online shop.
Of course, there are plenty of other advises about increasing site conversion, but it all depends on individual parameters of your site. Anyway, these advises are the ones that you should adhere first.

<a

There are so many interactive services and activities that are available to not only the individual user but business interests as well. Online projects and endeavors need to integrate social networking into their overall strategy to best utilize their internet presence and grow. These are the places where customers gather to share their ideas, likes, and dislikes. Being a part of that allows a business to grow better relationships with their customers in addition to facilitating the spread of relevant information.

SEO and Social Networking

Any doubts about the importance of social networking to an online presence should be dispelled when looking at the search engines. Major search engines such as Bing, Google, and Yahoo are all taking steps to better integrate social information into results. Bing was the leader of the pack by drawing on Facebook Likes and Fan pages to help gauge popularity of a subject. Yahoo and Google are following similar suit to take advantage of the dynamic nature of social networking to find the most relevant results for a search.

As it currently stands, social network ratings do not have a huge impact on SEO efforts. The industry seems to be in the phase of figuring out how to best draw on and utilize the information in a way that will be appropriate. For example, Bing offers a social oriented search which uses data from entities such as Facebook to help determine what appears on search engine result pages. However, you can also plug the information into a regular search query to generate a result that draws from traditional SEO practices.

Looking To Future Projects

A very apparent trend is the embracing of social media values to help determine what is relevant, authoritative content. The approach closely mirrors traditional link-building except on a much faster pace. Social networks simply move at a quicker pace than any other locations we may frequent on the internet. Users can update, Tweet, or tag on the go as often as they want. That provides the potential to simulate viral marketing and make an impact on a large audience in a relatively narrow timeframe.

A good, recent example of this was the “HOPA” girl who stuck it to a boss that referred to her in a derogatory way through text on white boards. She gave the impression she was standing up for herself while pointing out that the network activity showed her manager playing Farmville for several hours a week on the clock. That story and accompanying video spread faster than wildfire because of social networks. It wasn’t until a few days after the fact that it was discovered it was a staged marketing ploy to attempt to simulate viral marketing.

Preparing For Tomorrow

Your business, product, or message can benefit from the same kind of exposure especially as social networking is better integrated into the general internet experience. We are looking at an environment that is already starting to use the weight of some social page PageRanks to help contribute to results placement. Search engines are not releasing details but it is an activity that is confirmed.

A business cannot solely rely on traditional methods to generate online success. A business needs to have a social networking presence if they want to compete in the ever evolving online environment of tomorrow. Doing so will not only provide benefit in terms of search results but provide a great opportunity to better integrate with participants to facilitate the spread of information. There is no downside. The sooner a business gets onboard the better off they will be a year from now either through better rankings or exposure.

<a

However, over concentration and reliance on blogging can work against the established networks over a period of time. The webmasters often tend to align themselves more to changing SEO dynamics rather than writing traffic numbers dwindle and eventually the earnings. The blogging ecosystem is changing at rapid pace and is no more a standalone entity in itself. A well chalked out SEO and SMM hold the key.

Finding the right monetization strategy for you!

Research The Keywords Before Putting Thoughts Together

It is essentially imperative for webmasters to focus on a set of keywords for a stint only rather than sticking with them for a life time. The popular tools such as Google Trends should be leveraged by bloggers to know the current topics of interest and then concentrate on those. For instance, some iPhone niche bloggers are still focusing iPhone 5 keyword phrases rather than iPhone 4S and are hence are experiencing decreasing traffic trends.

Another strategy to counter the fad trends is by buying domain names with the high value keywords and stacking those with the blog posts. However, not everyone has the budget to buy too many sites and set them up from scratch with quality content. The strategy is highly recommended for webmasters who intend to develop a rich blogsites portfolio.

Try Non-Adsense Monetization To Boost Earnings

More often than not the bloggers tend to rely 100% on Adsense based earnings even if they crack higher rankings. There comes a saturation point in the earnings potential and unless non-Adsense route too is leveraged by the users the earnings will eventually normalize.

Technorati Media ads and Clickbank are fastest non-Adsense affiliate networks that have been yielding substantial earnings. The video ad networks such as Vdopia have penetrated the market with a boom too. You should try marshalling your resources around these potential monetizing possibilities in order to stay competitive in the blog niche.

Change & Innovation Are The Buzz Words

Even more than the content the look and feel of the blog should be appealing to the users. Have you ever wondered if the design of the site is intimidating and user friendly? Perhaps the good starting point will be to benchmark the design with the best competitors. The surfers tend to prefer blogsites which load up faster, have meaningful content and are not spammy.

There is no harm in re-engineering the site from scratch even if you have substantial traffic but are witnessing regular churn. Only by changing ad layouts, blog’s design and categorization you can know the things to concentrate upon. As a best practice you should ideally take a leaf from the book one by one rather than radically changing the design, layout and content in one go. And as pointed out by Tom pointers – Try fast and Fail fast, you should recognize what is going on wrong and how it can be corrected with apt steps in the next iteration.

<a

While for newly launched sites low numbers of visitors in the beginning are just normal, if you want to make your site popular faster, you have a secret weapon – free content.

Free content must be your companion not only in the beginning. In fact, throughout the whole lifecycle of your membership site, free content is something you can’t go without. This might sound illogical but as I will explain in the next sections, your paid membership site can’t be successful without lots of free content with top quality.

Free Content Isn’t Cannibalizing Your Paid Content

Many inexperienced webmasters of membership sites will frown at the idea to have huge amounts of free content because they think it will jeopardize their paid content. The logic is that nobody will pay when he or she can get something for free.

However, this isn’t so. Your free content and your paid content are not competitors – or at least your task is to make them non-competitors. You don’t offer the same stuff for free and for a fee. For free you offer the basics, for a fee you offer the more advanced stuff.

If you are familiar with the open source model, the model you need to apply is similar to the model of open source software – great free functionality and paid extras. Depending on the type of your WordPress membership site, the free and the paid components can vary.

For instance, if you have a membership forum, you can allow everybody to register for free, read threads and post in them but reserve access to more advanced areas, such as a job board or a marketplace for paid members only. As you see, the two functionalities aren’t competitors; in fact, the paid ones supplement the free one.

Free Content Helps to Attract New Members

Maybe you still don’t see why you need free content. If we continue the above example with the membership forum, your free content will be visible to everybody on the Web and the people who are looking for a solution will find the threads where their problems are discussed. It is true that many of them will solve their problem for free by reading the publicly accessible areas of your site but if they are pleased with the quality, they might become your regular visitors.

Most of these free members will never upgrade – this is a fact. Still, don’t regard free content as a loss of valuable resources. Even if 1-2% of your free members upgrade, for a site with huge traffic this is enough to become sustainable. Additionally, if you place ads on your site, you do profit from your free members, too (very often you might profit from them more than from your paid ones), so there is no reason to consider the free sections of your site to be lost profit.

Free Content Promotes Your Site

Finally, in today’s competitive world, no business can be successful without promotion. You just need to accept that a certain portion of your budget will go for promotion. You can launch a dedicated ad campaign and pay for it but your free content does a great job in promoting your site without having to pay extra fees.

If your free content is top quality, this increases the chance to rank well with search engines. Search engines are still the best alternative to get free quality traffic and you can’t miss such an opportunity.

There might be a bunch of paid membership sites that offer no free content and still are successful but more often than not, this approach doesn’t work. Free content with superb quality is a must for a membership site – this is how the business goes.
plugins.

<a

This free time can be spent on more productive activities which will improve your chances of becoming a successful professional blogger and internet marketer.

When I started out in my internet marketing career, I always had to do everything myself, but as I became more successful I realised I needed to outsource some tasks, otherwise I’d be overwhelmed with my day to day tasks and never become an entrepreneur.

5 years later, I’ve had a lot of experience with outsourcing tasks and here is what I learnt.

1. Be very PICKY when you hire!

The fact is there are hundreds if not thousands of people who are suitable to do the job you want. The worst thing you can do is hire the first person that applies in a rush to get the job done.

If you’re thinking, “He seems OK, I’m sure he’ll do fine” you’re probably making the wrong decision and heading towards a car crash.

I have to be 100% satisfied with the candidate; I put a job out for the max duration of the project timeline to get the maximum possible bids so I can find the best possible candidate. Think of this as an investment, you want to hire workers for long term, if you hire a different worker each time you’re doing this completely wrong.

2. Always pay by the hour rather than per project.

Hourly Jobs are Better!

When I first started out I was always worried that it would cost more to pay by the hour rather than per project, thinking that workers would slack and waste time if they’re paid by the hour, unfortunately it didn’t work out that way.

The reason being is that workers are never sure if they’ll be remunerated properly if they get paid per project, they never spent too much attention to detail in one are in case they go over their projected time and end up losing out. So they rush the job, and meet the absolute minimum criteria asked for.

Being paid hourly, it’s in the interest of the worker to not cut corners and work on the project for as long as it needs. The hourly rate never went out of control, and in many instances it was surprisingly less than budgeted. When you pay hourly, you get far better quality than paid on a per project basis.

3. Always monitor your workers, and keep an eye on QC

The second biggest mistake I made was to delegate a project and simply forget about it, this was a really bad move because; 1) the worker missed my instructions and started to derail from the task or 2) started working slower over time.

How did I solve this? Well I always get my workers to use Hyperhour. It’s a small client software that allows me to monitor them whilst they’re working, how much time they’re spending and even see screen caps of their work. So when they bill me for work done, I always know what for.

With the ability of seeing screenshots, there’s no hassle or disagreements, you have an objective proof of work done, and time spent. Plus it saves on time; because the worker doesn’t need to spend time writing up reports to send to you. I was able to log in and see what the worker was doing at any given time and see if they were on task.

It’s always important to monitor, I use Hyperhour because it’s free but there are many tools out there. If you’re successful enough and working on a large scale you may want to hire a manager to monitor the workers for you.

4. Get to know your employees, personally.

Build a relationship with your workers, understand their lifestyle, talk about your families, and build a personal bond. Remember a good worker is worth keeping and makes your job a lot easier because you don’t have to retrain new staff each time. I made a huge blunder, thinking that money was the answer to all problems. People like working for bosses who are personable and nice to work with. It’s easy to not give a damn about someone if you don’t know them.

What’s the point of retraining new staff every month, training them is very tough, and takes up a lot of resources, so you want to pay your workers fairly, and want them to want to work for you for the long term?

I found that single mothers [and even mothers with husbands/boyfriends] tend to be the best workers. Why? well they have a dependant that they need to take care of they’re not thinking about cheating you or jumping onto the career ladder, they’re going from day to day. The only down side with mums is that they’re not always available to work on demand due to have various different mother issues. The worst workers for long term was students, a lot of college students didn’t have the experience, a lot of them were only doing it as a stop gap, and many were inundated with college work to care about project work

5. Finally, treat your employees as team members.

It’s important to make the worker feel part of a team, some may be working for an agency abroad, but many will be working from their computers at home [probably, just like you], it’s easy to feel demotivated when you’re not seeing the fruits of their labour. Always relay feedback to them, give link builders feedback on traffic results, and tell them what a good job they are doing. Remember them on their birthdays or their kids’ birthdays for example. You may run into the strong boss/worker mentality in some cultures like India or Philippines, which can be tough to break away from. But always treat them like they are on an equal footing to you.

Hope you guys save money and time using my tips, and enjoy!

The biggest question - What to do next?

Keyword Tie-Ins

Regardless of the theme of your blog, keep in mind what gets attention from search engines and from the reading public: keywords, content, and site or blog advertising.

Title your blog with one of the top keywords in your subject area.

Use keywords or phrases with a density of once for every 100 to 150 words, not including your blog signature, which should include your main keyword phrase or blog title. Don’t overuse the keyword in your posts. Search engines block listings from overly-dense content.

Post consistently and always with relevant content. Make a posting schedule and keep it. Try for a minimum of two or three times per week or more often if possible.

Legal Advertising

There are several methods that can legally—as in non-spam—advertise your blog:

Related Blogs and Forums: Find blogs and forums that relate to your blog topic. If direct URL posting is not allowed, contact the blog owner or site manager and request a link exchange. If disallowed, continue searching. There are hundreds of thousands of related sites on the Internet.

Your Personal Email: On every personal email address you have, you can legally advertise your blog in two ways: Signature Block: Create and use a signature block that includes an automatic link to your blog. Every person you email will get one automatically. Vacation Responder: Periodically use this tool to send a message to every person who sends you an email when it’s activated. The message can read simply, ‘Sorry I can’t answer right away. I’m busy with my blog, Border Collie Lover in Pasadena, found at:’ and include the URL. Finish it with something like, ‘I’ll personally answer your email soon. Thanks for your patience. Meanwhile, come read!’

Email List Owners: Sign up for e-zines about your blog topic. When you get a good feel for the content being sent, email the list owner and volunteer content for his or her e-zine. Include the content and the resource box listing your name, your blog’s name, and the blog’s URL. If the list owner likes the content and agrees to send your mini-article in the e-zine, you’ve just succeeded in advertising your blog to potentially thousands of people, and without spamming.

Social Networking Sites: Yes, yes, and yes. Yes, create a page, entitled the same or as close to your blog title as you can on every social network site. Yes, link to and from your blog, and yes, include the social sites’ URLs in your signature blocks and resource boxes.

Article Writing: Write an information article or series regarding your topic. Meet the submission guidelines regarding no ‘selling’ your particular site, and include your blog, et al, in your resource box. Allow others to use your article—with your name, your copyright notice, and your resource box left intact—freely on their sites. This allows you to advertise your blog on potentially thousands of web pages, creating a back link on each posting site.

Potential to Earn Money

Blogging presents two ways to possibly earn money: paid advertising on your blog and freelance blogging.

Paid advertising is either presenting ad space for others to rent on your blog or signing up for Google AdSense which pays you, as the blog owner, each time someone clicks an AdSense ad on your blog. The more popular your blog becomes to the search engines, the more people who are going to read your blog, which means there are potentially more ads clicked and more money paid to you.

Once you have a consistent, well-designed and maintained blog, others may contact you to write for their blog or you can apply to blog writers’ advertisements, and use your great blog as a sample.

While I was still working in my own business part-time and was employed full-time, I came to understand that in order for my internet venture to succeed, I needed to mind my own business 100% and not those of others. I realized that my best success was realized when I worked full-time in my own venture and part-time for others rather than the other way around.

At that period of my life I discovered a life changing secret: The mindset of a true entrepreneur should rise above the standards that exist in individuals who labor for others in the daily grind of full-time employment.

I realised it was a mistake to try to hold on to an employee job and try and work my internet business late at night. It was a strategy that was keeping my venture on the ground for months – if not years. Thankfully, my decision to go full-time on my internet businesses made all the difference. Apart of that profound conclusion, I also found 3 other common errors that most entrepreneurs make when they start an online business:

1. Failure to Set and Keep Priorities in Order

You’ve probably heard the expression used by John Wayne “we’re burning daylight.” Time, once wasted, is gone forever, so it is essential to utilize this valuable asset effectively and efficiently in your online business. When opportunities are lost because of time spent on fruitless activities, the typical result is business failure. The online marketplace is a highly competitive one, and those who work hardest and make the most productive use of their time will always be seeking to take the lion’s market share.

If you spend your valuable time in front of the tube, playing on Facebook, or playing games on Pogo, you are increasing the available opportunities for your competition to move in and take your share of the marketplace. You should have a set plan for every day and adhere to it. Use time wisely; you mustn’t waste this precious asset called TIME. You must not allow others to waste your time, either. Setting and keeping priorities requires discipline, and in order for your online business to succeed, you will have to develop the skills required to avoid wasting time so you can achieve the goals you set.

2. Not Being Honest With Yourself

The majority of internet business owners have plans to achieve their financial freedom within a single month. Achieving a positive cash-flow in a new online business usually takes months, and it is unrealistic to expect unlikely results such as financial freedom in a mere month.

Successful online entrepreneurs who have achieved wealth put in the effort required over a period of months or years to reach their financial goals. Even in the unlikely event that instant financial wealth is achieved, it is generally short lived. Building a customer database, developing partnerships, creating and optimizing a website, achieving quality organic traffic, building your business credibility; all of these things take time. There is no “fast track” way to instant business success.

You must be honest with yourself and face the fact that your business must be molded into a success, and it simply isn’t realistic to believe this can take place in a mere thirty days.

3. Failure to Keep a Positive Outlook

An optimist sees the glass half full, and the pessimist sees it half empty. An optimist believes in his eventual success, and a pessimist anticipates his certain failure. In order to have a successful lifestyle, you must maintain a winning attitude. Every online business is going to encounter obstacles, and every online business owner must be prepared to overcome them. A positive outlook will guide you through difficult times; an enthusiastic mindset will motive you in times when failure seems possible. Remain focused and optimistic, and you will overcome most hurdles that block your path to success.

You must set realistic financial goals that can reasonably be achieved. Set an initial goal, for example, of $150. When you reach that goal, reward yourself, and raise the goal. Continue this process and you are conditioning yourself to set and meet your targeted goals.

guest blogging guidelines.

Income cycles as a freelance blogger may fluctuate significantly. And while you might have a pretty good idea of what your expenses will be on a regular basis, you might not always be able to plan exactly when or how much your income will be. This is why it can be extremely important to estimate your income accurately and be prepared for the unexpected.

There are several ways to help you better ascertain your cashflow that aren’t necessarily difficult, and once you have these techniques mastered, your money management as a freelancer might not be as uncertain. Here are three main steps to help you manage the income you receive as well a few ideas to help facilitate the growth and stability of that income.

1. Forecasting

Being able to properly forecast your income and expenses can be critical to your money management as a freelancer. As mentioned above, you’ll hopefully have a pretty good understanding of the amount of money that’s pouring out of your accounts and what it’s for, but if not, going through previous month’s bills and credit card statements may help you generate an idea of a general month’s outflow of cash.

The same goes for reviewing past income, however; as a freelancer, how and when your income arrives could be a bit more difficult to predict. Consider dividing your incomes into three categories. One category will be guaranteed income (or as close to guaranteed as you can come), another category will be probable income (income you are likely to receive, but has a chance of being more or less than you expected), and a final category that will be possible income (income you might get, but can’t necessarily count on).

By utilizing these three categories you can begin to get a feel of how much income you will receive each month. By adding your guaranteed income total to say 75% of your likely income, and 50% of your possible income, you take into account some wiggle room in your forecasting, giving your numbers some slack if things don’t go exactly according to plan.

2. Budgeting

Once you’ve completed your forecasting, you will hopefully be in a position to prepare a budget. A budget can give your money management plans some structure, allowing you to compare expected income to expected expenses. This can help you see if you’re in the general realm of covering your costs or if you will need to cut a few expenses or increase your income streams.

As with forecasting, it’s often a good idea when setting up you budget to allow for a bit of wiggle room in order to help plan for bumps in the road or unexpected events that may decrease your income or increase your expenses.

3. Cash or Credit Reserve?

Above and beyond planning for the unexpected in your forecasting and budgeting, creating a cash or credit reserve can play significantly into your money management plans. Being able to call upon extra sources of money in a cash crunch can allow you to better weather the storm. As a freelancer, you’re largely relying upon yourself for your income. When you take a vacation or have a medical emergency and are away from your work for several weeks or longer, your cashflow can take a severe hit. Such a situation can leave you scrambling to cover the bills, and this is where having a cash or credit reserve can come into play.

4. Knowing Your Accounts

Knowing your customers and understanding their payment schedules can be pertinent to facilitating your blogging income. Especially with advertising income, knowing the way in which your accounts plan to pay you or how long it might take to receive payment can directly affect how you manage your money. You may have to structure budgets and billing cycles around income streams that arrive weekly, monthly, quarterly, or more haphazardly depending upon your particular situation.

5. Tax Preparation

As a freelancer, you may be in charge of preparing and planning for your own income taxes. This means there might not be automatic tax deductions taken from the customer payments you receive. Keeping a running tab of how much you will owe the tax man come year’s end and stashing a ‘tax fund’ of ready cash in order to pay this amount can help keep you from encountering a significant tax bill for which you are unprepared at the end of the year.

6. Hosting Options

There are a variety of blog hosting options out there, and choosing the correct once can significantly affect how much you must pay for their services. If you aren’t sure which ones are the best, consider reading online reviews and asking fellow bloggers who they have had success with hosting their sites.

7. Consider Guest Writers

Utilizing guest or ghost writers for your blog or blogs could save you time as well as increase your income, and as we all know, time is money. You would be able to get many companies who offer you to work for them accordingly and then they would pay you in thousand dollars. You are assured to get the money but the fact is that you won’t able to get any amount. The reality about these companies is that they give you guarantee to pay you, about 98 % are scams. Their main intention is to first assure you then when you trust them completely and then they ask you to pay them from your account.

It is recommended to you that if anyone asks you to invest any money then beware of it, you won’t get any guarantee to pay back. So instead of loosing your hard money it is better to consider those which do not charge you. Today many qualified people from all over the world are searching for part time jobs. Some of them are the students who want to study and side by side want to earn credit.

The first and the foremost problem that comes to you is how to recognize the scams website. href="http://www.queryads.com/">Queryads explains the importance of split testing for websites and businesses. For a website, it can help in identifying the design that is most liked by the user and which leads to more engagement. On the other hand, businesses can figure out a design which drives more sales and as a result help in making more money for their business. You can voice your own opinion by taking a look at our guest blogging guidelines.

How does split testing work

Split testing is a useful and confirmed tactic to boost web based offers. Testing it takes a lot of time and effort and by means of the right tools for the job

What is split testing?

Split testing is fundamentally testing two unlike variables on your sales page to know what gets the most value out of your page by detail, as in every detail of your page whether it is your fonts or font size, the size of your headline, the wording of your headlines, the pictures you use, the price of each product, text in every paragraph and so on.

Split testing is what differentiates the beginners looking just about from those who make money out of the World Wide Web market. The people that earn a lot of money out of this are those who are good and know how to split test. It should be done to make more and more sales while separating themselves from others as the cream of the crop of the internet market.

Why bother with split testing?

Split testing is what detaches the most excellent of web designers from all the others. It is because of the fact that they basically know what are the proper and accepted combination of variations to use, like the use of different combination of headlines, colors, backgrounds, etc. It eventually results in attracting more personalities to check the site and they can ask for a higher rate as a result split testing can help:

Make the viewers stay longer

Make the viewers to interact with site

Make the viewers buy from the site

Makes the viewers more interested to browse the site

Who should be split testing?

Web designers are more often than not the targets because of their environment settings and their creativity of running tasks on web sites to catch the attention of more customers to visit the site, build a bond with your customers and make them come back. Just keep your mind set that split testing establishes traffic flow because you need people to visit your site.

How do you split test?

Mainly, the trouble-free way is to split test the whole sales page at once this way makes it more rapidly and without ease is usually known as an A/B split test but the thing to take into consideration is the fact that it is not that efficient as compared to testing entity variables but it is free of charge to set up and is downloadable. You can create a free A/B split test with the use of different software that are available in the internet.

There you can start on purely by creating as many different types of pages you like for instance, you can take into consideration the 5 basic variations

Your personal default sales page

Default sales page with images

Default pages with different font styles

Default pages with different headlines

Default page with different amounts

Here is a piece of advice for all the beginners out there who are interested to make it big in the internet market. It is important to maintain and keep an eye on your page. Try to modify only one variable on each discrepancy or else you’ll lose track of what is going on. From there you can direct each distinction evenly and see which gets more profit and that’s the fundamentals of split testing and it is ok if you don’t have the money to invest on it yet.

On the other hand by spending a little of your chump change would not hurt to because in return you can have vast list of software that will automate all your testing for you and you would have the supremacy to test as many dissimilar combinations as you would want and it gets improved and enhanced that you don’t even have to know how to split test for the fact that it does all the dirty and information work for you.

This great software is also known as multivariate testing software and is a replacement for getting mixed up with all the unlike types of webpage which are detectable and you can straightforwardly identify the unusual versions of each variable and let the software do the job for you. You also can never find out that it can guess out what types or variety of combinations to use on your page to make you more income.

Variation in Split Testing

There are three major contenders in the multivariate split testing manufacturing business. There is the kaizen track, split test accelerator and conversion chicken. The kaizen track is about $197 while the split accelerator costs about $891. The conversion chicken on the other hand is free for a basic account and is considered the best among the three. Let us know and understand what does conversion chicken provides us with.

Conversion chicken is cheap mainly with no included reason at all although it could be priced at approximately the same value as kaizen track. The main reason that makes split test accelerator and kaizen track for programmers and not for new ones because the known software targets the programmers who have deeper knowledge so that they can play around the configuration files and make good use of the software to anything they aspire to do and achieve.

Conclusion

But after all that was said, the fundamental standpoint and the fact that they produce identical output are important in split testing. You have the supremacy and the will to choose whatever software that you want to make use of. You have to meet the terms of your needs and go with what is best fit for you.

After all it is your own money investing on it and the option is yours alone but if you’re a beginner, it is very much advisable for you to use conversion chicken and work with it for the time being until you get your income.

We Build Your Blog. He has been blogging for almost 3 years now and he is earning a living from it. He recently started his Income Blogging Guide in order to help bloggers who are not able to make any money out of their blogs. In this Interview I would be asking him about his blogging experience and also some questions regarding his new guide.

The Interview

Gautam: Andrew, I would like to know about your blogging journey. What inspired you to start blogging? Which was your first blog?

Andrew: For the first 30 years of my career I worked for large corporate companies. The corporate world allowed you to work hard and get well rewarded – which I was. I ended up managing large IT departments.

But I’ve always thought about making it on my own. Over the years I was always looking for something that would make me more money!

I thought that if I worked as hard on my own business as I did in the corporate world – I could make it work.

Then, ‘out of the blue’, someone said to me, why don’t you write a book on Management and sell it on-line?

I started to investigate and quickly got excited. I knew I could write the book due to my experience and I naively believed the hype and thought I’ll make millions on-line by selling the book and retire!

This was 3 years ago.

I found a mentor, online, (I knew nothing about being on-line), and he helped me. He told me exactly what to do, and I invested my earnings from the corporate world into it.

I created a website and a free management guide to start building my own customer list, and then my management book. I did all this in the evenings while staying away from home in the hotels and while traveling in the corporate role.

I finished the sales page and launched, expecting hundreds to sell. I sold about five in the first week, but I was expecting 5,000!

I quickly sucked the mentor dry – he couldn’t help me anymore – I had all his knowledge now, so I found a more experienced mentor, and he helped me in the marketing and we created two more products to sell.

Then I got into blogging and created several blogs and more products.

So now I had a variety of products to sell and my knowledge of making money on-line was growing. I invested thousands of dollars in my education, and it was taking over – I really enjoyed the excitement.

Eighteen months ago, I decided to leave the corporate world and decided to take the plunge and work for myself, full-time.

Since then I have created my own course helping others to build their on-line business.

Gautam: As I can see from your experience, though, you had a great product to sell, you weren’t able to make that much money in the start. Many bloggers and online entrepreneurs think big, but they are not able to reach their expectations. What major mistake do they make?

Andrew: Major mistakes they make include believing all the hype about ‘how easy it is to make money on-line”.

It isn’t easy. It takes hard work, passion and knowledge.

They create products that they THINK will sell rather than do some thorough research and what people want.

They try and do it all themselves. You can’t. Find someone to help you who are better than you and more knowledgeable than you.

Gautam: Andrew, you recently came up with the “The Income Blogging Guide“. Before I ask about the blogging course, I would like to know whether you are generating a good income from blogging?

Andrew: I suppose that depends upon your views of ‘good’!

I generate enough income to live comfortably but it is not just about the money…it’s about the freedom. I love the fact that if it is sunny outside I can choose to go and enjoy the sun – play Tennis or whatever. I work when I want to. Sometimes that might be late at night or 5 am in the morning. That freedom is worth a lot more than a huge amount of income…for me anyway.

Gautam: The best thing I like about your guide is the sales page of your guide. It is simple and crisp with all the information that is required. Could you tell me, who all would benefit from your income blogging guide? What can they expect from blogging guide?

Your Income Blogging Guide is a blogging course, but how do you think it is better than other blogging courses already available in the market?

Andrew: In my experience many of the other course include these types of problems:

They take certain things for granted…like your ability to create a blog or generate traffic. You need to have to be technical savvy in order to follow their “steps”. If you’ve never built a web site before, or have very limited experience, this can be one of the most daunting parts of starting a blog.

Many of the courses say, do this, do that – which is all well and good but our course tells you the ‘how to’ as well.

You may be told to “set up the pages for you to sell your products”. What you are not told is the “how to”. We show you’re the ‘How to’ via videos and screen shots.

Very often you buy the product and then you’re on your own with the information. If you don’t understand a part of it, you can usually submit questions, but there’s not a “go to” resource for figuring out part of the process.

Many e-course designers or marketers are more than happy to help…to a degree…but don’t have mechanisms built in for very involved technical help.

At times, you may even be referred to alternative courses designed to help you tp complete these steps. Who wants to spend even more money when the course was supposed to be step by step?

BEFORE, we created the course, we asked our visitors and customer lists what they wanted from such a course.

51% wanted the course to be easy to follow and use. We provide everything you need to build your own on-line business built around blogging. It’s not just about blogging…it’s about getting traffic, building your own customer lists, creating your own products, copywriting and outsourcing.

You don’t have to buy any other course.

Plus, 26% of the people who completed the survey wanted support mechanisms in place. As my business partner, Joel is the technical blogging mentor to some of the most famous bloggers in the world, we decided to go over-board with the support.

So we have a weekly live teleconference, a private members forum AND members can write to us directly (in case they want to keep things private).

77% of our members have stated that the course far exceeded their expectations and our refund rate is very, very low.

Why? It’s all about customer service. If the member gets really stuck, we go in and make the changes for them or have a one on one skype chat with them.

We want our members to succeed on-line and therefore we help as much as we can.

Gautam: Thanks Andrew for taking your precious time out to participate in this Interview and I think Bloggers would find your Income Blogging Guide Really Useful.

Andrew: Gautam

It was a pleasure. Thanks.

Are you not making any money from your blog?

“Making money online is an art” and I would totally agree with this statement. People who think that effort equals money are totally wrong. If effort is not applied in the right direction, then, it is of no use, as it will not bring in any money. But, if effort is used in the right amounts in the right places, it can really bear fruit and make you some money. So, the right mantra is “directed effort equals money”.

Many bloggers have a goal of a six figure income from their blogs. They try really hard to make a buck, but they fail miserably because they are using a bad monetization strategy. This is because they don’t know about directed effort.

Here, I would like to discuss on the 5 reasons why bloggers are not making money from their blogs.

Focus on Quantity

Bloggers who are money centric (i.e people whose main focus is on money), don’t care about their content. what they really care about is the quantity of their articles. Because more articles will get more traffic and which will increase the chance of making more money. But the problem is that if you don’t concentrate on quality, then you will not able to earn money from it. Quality content builds a reputation which will further help in building a community. Once you build a community, then you can think of making money from it.

Too Many Ads

Too many Ads on your website is a complete no-no for any blog. Too many ads decrease the appeal of a website and they also deteriorate the design. The result is: Readers are unhappy and they have an impression of the blogger as a really greedy person who doesn’t care about his readers. And, instead of making more money, the blog doesn’t make any money!

You would not like this to happen to your blog, right?

So, you should try to have an optimum number of ad spots targeted in a fashion that they really blend well with the design and they don’t become eye sores. Once you have that established, you will be all set to make money from your ads.

No Traffic

You’re wishing that somebody would click on your ad and you will make money. But, that will not happen if you don’t have traffic. Sometimes, bloggers think only of content and forget about marketing it. This is a big mistake on their part. Marketing is really important to get traffic. The number of clicks is dependent on the amount traffic. So, if you get more traffic, then your chances of making money are higher.

Sponsored Reviews

Sponsored Reviews are a great way to make money, but at what cost? Sponsored reviews that are completely off-topic and have no use for your readers can be really harmful for your community. You would be making money on your first oppurtunity, but you will be losing out on your reputation.

It would be far better if you write sponsored reviews on topics related to your niche and add your honest opinion to it. By that technique, you would be writing a sponsored post without hurting your reader’s sentiments.

No Email Newsletter

I was not aware of the power of email newsletters and so do many bloggers. Most internet money makers like Shoemoney and Darren Rowse believe that email newsletter services like Aweber are a must have, if you want to make money from affiliate networks. Chances of conversions increase if you have an email list. Not having an email list will limit the money making potential of your blog.

These are some of the most common mistakes made by bloggers. But, there are ought to be many others.

If you have something to add to this list then please comment.

<a

You may not even know some of the terminologies is that are used- so it’s important that you have a guide to help you when you are considering a affiliate marketing software to go with.

First off, let’s talk a little bit about affiliate marketing. When you’re working in this field, you need to make sure that you have a certain niche you belong to – something you’re extremely excited about and something that your enthusiasm will shine through with. Affiliate marketing is not easy and if you don’t genuinely like what you’re working with, it will show after some time.

Success in Affiliate marketing is also not certain – things that are tried and true for others may not work for you and vice versa. Often times you’re relying on your gut instinct to decide whether or not something is worth pursuing or working with.

You also may not generate money at first… or at all. Then it’s time to find a new niche and new techniques. Perhaps your content and keywords aren’t driving traffic to your sources… who knows?

So now, you’re looking for affiliate marketing software. It’s HARD to find simplified information – and when you find information that is broken down, it may not even be something that you can understand- and you probably have nobody that you can ask except people who are deep down into affiliate marketing. Even then, they probably can’t break it down very simple either or may be bias towards something they tried and found to be awesome… for them. I was looking around for a great resource and this infographic is as simple and education as it can get. It goes over things like:

terms

optional payout methods

reviews what each software contains and offers

It has a really nice table set up with check boxes to showcase what is and is not included for each solution. This is a really big and information infographic, so enjoy!
<p

It has the potential of generating more income than some of the popular pay per click programs like Adsense and Chitika. A major percentage of John Chow and Problogger’s income is from affiliate marketing.

In Affiliate Marketing, you are promoting somebody else’s product and when somebody buys a product from your affiliate link, you are credited with a commission. The amount of commission you get on each sale depends on the owner of the product. (Usually, the commission also depends on the price. If the price of the product is high, then you can expect the commission will be on the higher side.)

Now, as you’ve understood the importance of affiliate marketing for making money online, you have to search for a good product for your affiliate marketing campaign.

A good product is the one, which can help you generate more sales and hence make you more money. Good products have certain properties, that make it a right candidate for your affiliate marketing campaign. These are as follows:

1. Relevance :

The product should be relevant to your blog or website or it should match the interests of your newsletter subscribers. If I have a blog on blogging tips niche, then I should promote web hosts rather than promoting mobile gadgets.

If you keep your products relevant, your chances of converting are pretty higher as opposed to a product which is highly irrelevant.

2. Commission per sale:

It always good to get some more money out of each sale. More commission per sale is a great attraction. Many bloggers even prefer getting 1 sale at a higher commission than many sales at a lower commission. 1 sale of the higher commission product will be able to compensate for many sales of the low commission products.

For Example, Epic Traffic Systems pays 1000$ per commission which is equal to 120 Problogger Book commissions.

3. Product Quality

Recommending a quality product has two benefits. Firstly, it ramps up the chances of getting better conversion rate, which means more money! Secondly, it keeps your readers satisfied, as they are buying something which is worth buying and not a scam.

I like WPWebHost because I have used it for my website and my experience with it has been really great. Hence, I will recommend it to others as it is totally worth it.

4. Value for Money

A product which is a total value of money has very high chance of getting sold. Many products are heavily priced, but they do not deliver what they are supposed to. If your readers don’t get their money’s worth, they will blame you for it.

Elegant Themes is an awesome theme club, as you have to pay a meagre 19.95$ per year and you get at least 5-10 themes each year which is like 4$ per theme – very cheap. And the themes are not low quality, they are worth more than 60$.

5. Coupon Codes

Some products offer coupons to their affiliates and some don’t. Coupon codes boost sales. They are equally effective online as they are offline (You see a lot of coupons for 10-80% off on certain restaurant). They can multiply your sales. You are actually bribing your readers to buy the product from your website. Your readers will readily take this bribe, as they are willing to buy the product.

Coupon Codes can be of two types:

General Coupons – General coupons are coupons that are open to all. Anybody can use it, even if they have not been referred by an affiliate. If the cookies are deleted by the referred user, there are chances that you lose on your affiliate commissions.

User Defined Coupons – User defined coupons are coupons that can be specified by the affiliate. These coupons will belong to the affiliate. Even if cookies are deleted, you will not lose on your affiliate commissions.

I personally offer “bloggodown” as the coupon code for 9.94$ off on the first bill of Hostgator and it has helped increase my conversions. Michael Dunlop has also seen an increase in his sales due to the addition of user defined coupons.

Obviously user defined coupons are much better than general coupons. Also, an affiliate program that offers coupon code is better than one that doesn’t offer any, right?

6. Recurring vs One Time

Products can be of two types:

1. One Time Sale:

These products are usually ebooks, single themes etc. These products are usually one of those which do not require any support or the support is not part of the whole package. As they are one time sell, the commission is also one time.

2. Recurring Sale:

Products like membership sites, web hosting are the ones that get paid every month or every year. These products include support services required for the user. These Products offer one time or recurring commission (depending on the affiliate program).

BlueHost provides a one time commission, whereas DreamHost provides a recurring commission although both products a recurring sale

It is always good to promote a product which has a lifetime earning potential i.e has a recurring sale. Even if you are not promoting any new product, you will still be earning a recurring income from it.

7. Tier Affiliate Programs

Tier Affiliate programs are programs that offer commission if another affiliate earned a commission and he signed up for the product from your affiliate link. This means, that even if somebody is promoting a product, you’re a still getting a percentage of the sale. The only thing you have to do is to refer good affiliate marketers to the product and your job is done. You will be making money without any effort.

8. Ramping up commissions

Many product owners reward their best affiliates with either rewards or by increasing their commissions. This is a definite attraction for any affiliate marketer.

Aaron wall’s SEO Book offers 50$ per commission at first and commission per sale increases to 150$ when the number of sales start increasing.

An affiliate program having all these characteristics will be really good, but that is an almost rare possibility. As an affiliate marketer, you should chose a product which has most of these characteristics.

What do you think is a good product for affiliate marketing? What do you look in it’s affiliate program?

<a

You must also do this on a regular, consistent basis.

There is a lot of debate on the “best” posting frequency for your blog. I think it’s not a matter of what “the” best is, but rather, “your” best. What’s do-able for you? Whatever you decide, make sure you’re consistent and you stick with it.

Whether its 3-4 posts per week or per month, keep it that way!

Move #2: Consistent Promotional Efforts

This is another area where there is a lot of debate on what the “best” way to do it is. Once again, I think you need to get into a regular habit of what works for YOU, and just do it on a regular basis.

A simple traffic “tip” is to find blogs in your niche to post comments to on a regular basis. Another technique to build back-links and get even more traffic is to submit short articles to article directories with a link back to your homepage and individual posts (also known as article marketing).

One of my favorite methods of promoting my blog is obvious: guest posting. This involves contacting the owner of a separate blog in your niche and asking if you can submit an article to be published on their blog. If you give them an article of high quality, you have a good chance of being accepted and in-turn, getting even more exposure for your blog.

Move #3: Retaining Your Visitors

This is something that is crucial, but so many bloggers fail to do. If you want to see success anytime soon, you NEED to retain your visitors—which is the act of attracting repeat visitors BACK to your blog.

Repeat traffic is WAY more valuable than your first-time visitors because most people don’t follow through with your intended course of action (such as a purchase) on their very first visit. The problem is, if you don’t make a conscious effort to retain your visitors, most of the people visiting your site will click off and NEVER return (by no fault of your own either).

The best way to retain your visitors is to provide an incentive for your readers to join your mailing list (or subscribe to your feed). You can write a short report (doesn’t matter how long, just make sure it’s useful) and give it away for free in exchange for their subscription. And that takes us to the next and final move…

Move #4: Checkmate (Earning Reader Trust)

Your first step to building trust is writing quality content on a regular basis (see Move #1); however, it goes much further than that. Once you’ve retained your visitors, your focus should be on convincing them to trust you—and for good reason, you’re not going to “con” them in any way.

If you retained your visitors by using a mailing list, then I suggest sending an email every six days. Make two out of three of your emails be a link to a high quality article posted to your blog. Every three to four mailers should be a promotion, such as a product recommendation or a review.

The six-day schedule ensures that you are not annoying your list with too many emails, but you are also not forgotten. When you send two high quality articles to your list before sending a promotion, you are letting them know you are interested in providing them value before you are interested in their wallet.

You can also apply the above strategy if you’re retaining your visitors strictly by RSS subscribers as well. Just follow a similar posting schedule, but make at least 1-2 of your posts per month be a product recommendation or review. Make sure you only recommend high quality products!

In Conclusion…

Although blogging and chess are two completely different things, there are some significant similarities that can be drawn between the two. They both require a great deal of patience and personal strategy, but if you remain persistent and follow proven techniques such as the “4 Move Checkmate”, success may just be a lot closer than you think.

This article is a part of the <a

But only a handful of internet and non-internet users have a full grasp of its meaning. Pay per click advertising is just one of the many ways invented to make money online. But it is not of those schemes that claimed to give you instant success and money. This kind of online money making will require effort and talent. The good thing is, you don’t have to put up huge capital money to earn from it. The requirements to get started are simple. If you have a computer, internet access, time and a will to learn the ways of the business, then you are more than geared up to begin.

For starters, you need to own a blog or website where you can publish the ads. By now, you probably have heard of what a blog is and if you don’t have one yet, there are plenty of websites where you can set up an account for free. Your blog should contain meaty articles to attract many readers. You need this kind of pull if you want to make a lot of money through pay per click advertising. If the content of your website or blog is very generic, you will have a hard time making it stand out amongst the hundreds of sites that are already out there. Copying from article directories won’t simply cut it since your blog will only become like a copycat.

The Quality Of Content

It would be easier for you if you blog about informative articles that you have a good grasp on. This will ensure that you will be able to deliver unique information to your readers and ascertain a good place for your blog in search engine rankings. If you set up a blog only to earn money, make sure that you have researched well about keywords before deciding on what to blog about. You can run a search of a particular keyword in a search engine and see how popular it is in the results among pay per click sponsors.

Traffic Matters

The key to successful online money making always lies in the traffic that your blog makes. The number of visitors will determine how much you are going to make with an online money making scheme like pay per click advertising. You have to have sufficient knowledge about Search Engine Optimization or SEO. Learn how to promote your blog. You can take advantage of blog directories, social networking sites and you can even participate actively in different forums where you can duly spread the word about your niche blog.

Monetizing It

When your blog is starting to perform well in terms of targeted traffic, monetization is obviously the next step. There is plenty of pay per click advertising networks like adsense, chitika etc. that you can sign up into to be an affiliate. It is not impossible to earn a decent income once you have established an effective system to make the most out of it. When a visitor of your blog or website clicks on one of the ads, you receive an appropriate remuneration for that action from your sponsors.

At The End…

One should remember that pay per click will not make you rich instantly so expect to invest a lot of work before you see significant results. But one thing is for sure, earning revenue through pay per click advertising is as real as it gets.

This article is a part of the <a

Some blogs are power blogs while some are mediocre blogs, some blogs don’t even know what they are talking about… but you know which blog you own. You might not own a power blog yet but taking these tips into practice will produce a great result and will catapult your blog from the mediocre level to the power blog.

Quality content: This is essential for the success of any blog. In order to be a power blogger your blog must not lack in terms of quality content, your content should add value to the users. Power bloggers don’t just go all over the web to scrape other peoples content, they only write high quality, high standard well thought out articles. You have to have the mindset of impacting your readers through the quality content. You have to separate yourself from the audience, you have to be unique. You shouldn’t only strive on how to get people to visit your website but you should also strive on how to retain those people and make them loyal readers.

Branding: Yeah! Branding. Just think about many of the popular products out there such as coca cola and the likes, they are all a product of branding. You might say branding is not necessary to build a power blog, but can you ever imagine how it would be if you could just make your readers to be thinking of you almost everywhere they go, won’t you be happy if your readers always have the image of your blog in their head, that is the effect of branding. Branding your website will make your readers to tell others about it even if they don’t want to. “The masters know that branding is the key”. Some people even used branding to get out the negative impression about their products from the head of some people. Brand yourself! Brand your blog!

Professionalism: Have you ever thought of this: you saw two blogs; one is a .blogspot.com blog while the other is a .com blog, they are in the same niche and they both provide valuable information, which one do you think you will always remember to visit? It is the .com one of course! Take it or not, some people believe free blogs are not quality blogs. Why not sacrifice some bucks and gain that extra trust and gain professionalism for your blog. Self hosted wordpress blogs are the best way to go! Forget about the free hosts; establish yourself, after all, the free host can decide to close down anytime. Don’t think about the benefit you will get now, think about the future!

Personality: If I may ask, who are you? This particular question rings in the mind of your users. Go to the wordpress plugin page and search for the plugin “count per day”, after some days, go back to the “pages” tab in wordpress and you will discover the most viewed page on your blog is the about page. You don’t need to let your users ask before they know who you are. Include your personality in your blog, get yourself a solid about page. Let it be in such a way that if people meet your content anywhere on the web, they will be able to say “I know this post is written by him”.

Interaction: Have you ever thought about why you created your blog, or why a blog idea was brought? The main reason behind this is interaction and that is why we have the comment section! Let you readers be able to interact with you, let your readers be able to ask you questions, humbly answer all their questions, make them feel welcomed and they will all help you build a power blog!

Do you have any other tips? We would all like to hear about them in the comments section

This article is a part of the scheduling tweets, I have decided to make it a regular feature. These posts will act as forums to discuss issues that concern us and that are very part of our social media.

One such issue is Twitter Monetization (Making Money via Twitter). Let’s start with a little story:

Twitter started as a medium to communicate with friends. Soon, it became popular among web enthusiasts and bloggers. People started sharing links they liked and soon twitter became a really powerful blog marketing tool. Bloggers used it to gather traffic and to get more retweets.

Seeing the potential in twitter, people started thinking about monetizing twitter (after all advertisers are looking for easy traffic).

The first one to start it was magpie. It payed twitter users on the basis of the number of sales made or number of clicks made on a specific link. This monetization scheme received a very good response from people who were interested in making an extra buck while doing the thing they love. A number of such monetization schemes started as a result of the great response they got from the users. To name a few:

Sponsoredtweets – It is the leading in this field and is used by many celebrities.

Ad.ly – Another Popular sponsored tweets program.

MyLikes – It is basically a sponsored likes program, where you can monetize your tweets as well as posts by sharing your likes.

Now, as you’ve got a basic picture about twitter monetization. Let’s talk about the pros and cons of twitter monetization.

Making Money via Twitter is the Way to Go

It is the easiest way to make money online. Even a blog takes 1-2 months to start earning and requires a lot of hard work. But here, you just need to type the 140 chars and viola! you are minting money.

Huge Earning Potential - Sponsored Tweets can fetch you huge amounts of cash in a little span of time. John Chow makes thousand of dollars via sponsored tweets.

Tweeting for Money is Unethical!

Spamming – As people have a greedy nature. They will be willing to tweet anything for money, even if it’s irrelevant or obscene. This will lead to excessive spamming in twitter stream and it will defeat the whole point of using twitter.

Shift of Focus – As people will treat twitter as a money making medium, their focus will be only on making money and not on sharing useful content.

People who are for twitter monetization say that twitter monetization will not lead to spamming, if the twitter users make sure that only the best tweets gets published (even if it is a sponsored one).

I have presented to you both sides of the coin. What is your take on twitter monetization? Is it ethical or is counted as bad twitter manners?

Have you made any money through twitter? Share your experiences here.

<a

This form of direct marketing is by far the most affordable, the easiest to monitor and adapt to market response, and it reaches the widest range of audience. One of the best attributes of an email marketing campaign is that it can be automated using an email autoresponder, an invaluable tool that you should have received with your web hosting package.

With millions of people online worldwide – all day and night – it is easy to see how email marketing can work to increase your web traffic. Email marketing campaigns are a great way to communicate with your customers. You can use emails to tell people about your new products and services, to make announcements about incentives, special offers, and new partnerships, to get feedback about your business, and for any other relevant business communication you think of. Your email list is essentially money in the bag. As your email list grows, so will your business.

There are some basic rules to follow when sending out a marketing email – basic rules that can make your business or break your business – so pay close attention. First, it is important to keep in mind that your emails are the same as your ad-copy. And just like any good advertisement does, your email should immediately capture the interest of your audience by telling them exactly how your product or service will benefit them.

Make your audience understand why they should click through to your website. The average reader will quickly glance over the email in search of a reason to keep reading. Make sure they find that reason in the first few seconds or you risk them pressing the delete key!

Many people think of spam when they think of internet marketing. Don’t be a spammer - target specific emails for a specific audience. Also, don’t confuse your readers with jargon or gimmicks. Only effective communication will lead to successful click-throughs. And don’t think that you have to do all of this on your own! Remember – even low cost web hosting should give you the tools that you need for email marketing.

Good email autoresponders will help you target your relevant content to those specific customers whose interests match the emails you send out. Your autoresponder will keep your customer lists organized based on their past purchases. This tool removes that organizational burden from you and ensures that you are reaching your target audience with the information they want. In addition, your autoresponder can monitor your email marketing success rates (click-throughs) and then adapt following emails accordingly. It really does not get any easier than this! All you need to do is take them time to learn how to use your tools.

Emails are also a great way to establish good links. Effective link building brings more traffic to your site. This is one reason why you want to get involved in affiliate marketing. Once you have established links, you should make sure that your links are obvious. Don’t hide them within the text of your emails – make them clearly visible and make sure they work. You don’t want someone clicking on a dead link.

You will be able to gauge the effectiveness of your advertising and your links by monitoring your click-through rate. You want to know how many people see your site, how many of them click on your links, and how many people follow through with a purchase. This level of immediacy allows you to adjust your marketing approach in the moment! No other market gives you this kind of immediate feedback.

This article is a part of the Blog Godown

Google Adsense has been a source of income for many bloggers. The reason why it is the most preferred ad network is because it is able to get the maximum returns. And also, because it tries to outdo itself by adding new features to make even more money online. A lot of six bloggers like shoemoney and Problogger have used Google Adsense to make a living from their earnings.

Google Adsense had recently opened adsense to google certified ad networks to compete for ad space. It was only available to users form North America and Europe, but now it is available to everybody. Here’s what was on adsense’s post.

Allowing these ad networks to compete for your display ad space means that more ads will be eligible to appear on your pages, leading to potentially higher earnings in the long run. Our system will show the ads that will generate you the most profit, whether they’re from these Google-certified ad networks or the AdWords program. As a reminder, all Google-certified ad networks are required to adhere to our standards for user privacy, ad quality, and speed. In addition, you can use the controls in your Ad Review Center to specify which ad networks can appear on your pages.

Finally, some ad networks use tools similar to Google’s interest-based advertising to show more relevant ads to users on the sites they visit. We’ll allow certified networks who comply with user privacy guidelines to show ads using these tools, but they won’t be permitted to collect data from your site for the purpose of subsequent interest-based advertising. You’ll be able to opt out of receiving ads based on user interests from these certified networks, and we have changed our requirements for third-party ad serving to reflect this. We’re dedicated to providing users with a positive experience, while helping publishers effectively monetize the ads appearing on their sites. We believe you’ll find that more competition translates into better ads and increased revenue in the long run.

This feature seems to be the best one in a long time and it has great money making potential.

Google adsense is trying to aggregate more and more ad networks to its list to increase the earning capacity of the readers and secondly, to make it an even bigger ad network (A one stop place for all the ad publishing solutions), so that each and every publisher uses adsense for displaying ads. As it is a relatively new feature, so one might not see a change in his earnings instantly, but it may start increasing in a month or so.

If you log into adsense and then click on Ad Review Centre, you will see a list of Google certified networks which will be competing for your ad space. These networks are some of the leading ad networks in the online business.
<p

Secondly, it would save a lot of time, as you would not need to login to multiple ad accounts and monitor your earnings. Also, adsense earnings can be integrated with google analytics. So, you can easily analyze your earnings in the analytics dashboard.

The only negative point with this collaboration of ad networks can be that a group sometimes try to take advantage of their unity and start changing the rules for their own benefit. For example, they may decrease the commission a publisher gets on each ad which is clicked or displayed (i.e the overall money per CPC), which may lead to a decrease in earnings.

Discussion

What do you think about this new adsense feature? Will it be able to make more money?

<a
