Why Galaxy Tab is a must have for Productive Blogging

During my childhood, I was the kind of kid who was always interested in new gadgets. I used try its features and have a thorough scan. You can say that I was a reviewer at that tender age. The first gadget in my life was a digital diary. At that time, it was a pretty neat gadget which replaced the use of a phonebook and diary. You could have appointments, calendars and contacts in one compact device. At that time, it was a wonder device, now it might seem so old school.

At that time, if you would have told me that in 15 years, there will be devices like Samsung Galaxy tab 10.1, I would have laughed over it Open-mouthed smile. But, now you see one tab after the other coming into the market with almost double the features of its previous version. Samsung is in close war with Apple. Both are trying to outdo each other with their phones and tabs. This time Samsung has an upper edge!

I am a blogger and my needs have changed a lot. First a simple desktop would have sufficed for my needs. But, now, I need a device which assists me in my blogging when I am on the go. I constantly need to check my tweets, emails and comments. I want the ability to comment and talks on the go.Β  I think the solution for that is the new Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 which has been recently launched on the 10th of August.

I think it’s a must have for a blogger who is looking for better productivity and I will tell you how:

Sleek and Lightweight

The times have gone when we used to carry those heavyweight laptops. When it comes to high speed movement, a 1kg or 2 kg laptop can bore you down. Whereas a 10.1″ portable tab weighing just 565 gms can be a asset to your gadget collection. Even if you are going out of town or just for a walk, this tiny assistant can be carried with ease. Wouldn’t it be really amazing if you could do all of your work in a park surrounded by nature. (Certainly a dream come true for me). Plus fresh air is good for mind and the body which will result in higher productivity. I am picturing myself having juice on a beach with white sand and I have the connectivity to my online world with a super awesome 10″ Tab.

Brilliant Screen & Usability

The best part of samsung gadgets is their screen. I have had a really good experience with samsung wave phone. The screen is good for the eyes and the color resolution is just beyond compare. Samsung Galaxy tab boasts of 1280 X 800 WXGA display with a pixel density of 149ppi. The screen looks really bright and easy on the eyes. Lesser strain equals more work which can be done without a break i.e. more output.

The Live Panel feature of Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 works similar to windows gadgets. You can customize apps and info you would like to see on the home screen. This can come in handy if you want to see all the tweets, mails on a single screen. Social media and emails are the major time suckers. Most bloggers waste a lot of time on these activities and you have to, because it is a part of the blog marketing process. The ability to mail and reply to tweets from the home screen will save some precious time which can be used for more important activities such as writing articles and brainstorming.

Be a Pro Multi Tasker

Time is always less. The only solution is to be an effective multi tasker. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 offers the mini apps which shows a set of commonly used apps such as calendar, tasks etc displayed in form of mini buttons which can be launched as pop-ups anytime you want. Isn’t that superb! Yes, but you have to make sure you use it effectively. I mean, everybody makes a to-do list or a schedule, but most don’t execute. If you are of those types, then no gadget can help you.

Amazing Technology

I have always wanted an Android device because of its huge apps suite. My favourite has been the google maps which works really well with the GPS Device. But, other google apps and other productivity apps work like a charm on the Android OS.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 comes loaded with Android 3.1 (Honeycomb) which is specially made for tablets to enrich the user experience and allows users to use many applications at the same time – the essence of multitasking. This version of Android will be able to minimise the gao between a tab and a laptop. So, you can kiss your laptop goodbye!

Other Really Awesome Features

I must admit my old gadget gives me an attack with its super slow speed and a really pathetic web experience. And the worst of it, it doesn’t support flash.

Flash supported web browsing which is essential to browse websites and watch videos on youtube. Plus the HSPA and Wifi access on Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 makes it a rich and super fast web experience.

The reading experience has been ramped with new features of zooming as well as ability to access millions of books and newspapers. In short, info hub at the touch of your finger.

The amazing HD playback and awesome music playback is the icing on the cake and adds to multi dimensions of Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1.

Also the camera is a gem with HD video capture so you can video blog from your Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Smile. Happy vlogging!

To top it up, you could attach it to a keyboard and convert it into a mini laptop.

When I see a guy using this sweet little piece of art, I almost die with jealousy.

    • I agree, it has got some faults like overheating. My samsung wave has similar problems and they have to get rid of this fault because it can be really detrimental for such a nice product!

The touchscreen is a little worse that ipad in terms of response. I guess this is one feature that really have to work on. It works great, but it needs improvement in many ways
