The point is not about the title of the page. The title of the page is the most important one. But we need to target more than 1 search engine, in order to get even more traffic, so meta keywords are important.

Google keywords are not useful for google but i think Bing is the second best and when we are looking at a larger perspective, then search engine optimization for all the search engines should be done, so that we get traffic from all sides

I believe I once read (or might even wrote, myself), that Google confirmed they no longer use META KEYWORDS.
