hmmm, wondering if the price of the prizes are worth getting more comments? It’s almost like using adwords to drive your adsense clicks up.
he real question is, are people influenced by money? Will they comment more? Will it force them to come up with something just to be included? This shall be an interesting test. I’ll look forward to the results. Good luck!

Most people don’t really care about the prizes. They just want to be rewarded for their effort sometimes.

By the way, I don’t think the Amazon gift card is anything worth for commentators who cannot shop on Amazon like me, as I’m from Malaysia. Correct me if I’m wrong here.

It doesn’t matter anyway. Connecting and meeting new friends by commenting is our main purpose.

Sounds amazing! This is good not only for commentators to win the prizes (although we want to) but also for us to connect with and know each other better.

It engages the visitors to actually leave their opinion/comment and not just visit and then leave like a “hit and run” hopper. It’ll also help in reducing our blog bounce rate.
