The hardest part for me, is commenting on submitted submissions. I find if I submit there, then I have to find something else to say on the actual blog posting. Plus most do not really comment on the BE site.

I agree with you that it’s not necessary to blog about blogengage on your blog. The ironic part is it really works.

I’m not sure why it works but I think it provides an even ground of equal interest to all bloggers and in return develops some pretty cool blog discussions.

The end results is usually more votes and more front page exposure from your existing readers and blogengage members.

Thanks so much for posting about the site. You should have also mentioned how you were the top engaged of 2009 and won 50 USD. I think that would also be a great way to get members to join us.

I love your suggestions within this article. I think updating your profile is very important and all members should do it. But to make a valid point I do see a few successful bloggers with no profile image still seeing the front page.

If your contents really good you could get published but I would say adding the profile pic is still the average persons best option.

I don’t know what it is but our members really like to see articles about blogengage. I have noticed this is a great way to break into the social community. Everyone who writes about blogengage and submits it has a huge following immediately after it’s rather interesting to watch.
